The V16 reeds are lively and my favorite now. Upper registers are easier to blow with the V16. ![]() The upper register are full and alive with this more than any mpc I ever tried! I tried it on a cheap chinese horn and it sounded better too. This Vandoren V16 gave me for rich lower frequency resonance and fuller sound. I have Metal Dukoff, Berg, and Otto link mpcs, and Runyon plastic mpcs. The horn sounds great with stock mouthpiece but I wanted more power, projection, and darkness.
